The workshop on 35mm and medium format is dedicated to the classic analogue black-and-white photography process: it will guide participants through the various stages of the process, from the developed negative to the final print in the darkroom. Led by artist and photographer Oliver Kofler, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the traditional development process, working hands-on with their own images. Each participant must bring along a roll of exposure-ready black-and-white film, in either 35mm or medium format. During the workshop, the films will be developed and subsequently printed in the darkroom. The workshop is open to anyone wishing to try their hand at or learn more about analogue photography, regardless of prior experience. Cameras can be borrowed prior to the workshop from the Silbersalz Photography Studio. Film is available at the Analog Corners at the Wörtz Bäck headquarters, the ECK Museum, the LUMEN Museum and the Silbersalz Photography Studio.
