In this workshop, children and families experiment with Polaroid photography and explore creative approaches to image-making. After taking photographs together with artist Kurt Stauder, the instant pictures are further transformed with artist Irene Steger using the so-called Polaroid Lift technique: the image layer is carefully lifted from the Polaroid and transferred onto paper, wood, or stones. The result is a series of unique and fragile visual worlds situated between photography, collage, and material experimentation.
