How does analogue photography shape the way we see the world? What impact has the transition from analogue to digital image-making had on our aesthetic perception? And what longings – but also what skepticism – are reflected in the current revival of analogue photography?

Sabine Gamper (independent curator, > sabinegamper.it
), Kurt Moser (photographer and “Lightcatcher” > lightcatcher.it), Johannes Bockemühl (owner of the traditional German company JOBO Artisan, > joboartisan.com), and Thina Adams (LUMEN) join Sabrina Toldt in a conversation about their approaches to analogue photography, the significance of materiality and craftsmanship, and the transformations of a medium that is finding renewed relevance between tradition and contemporary practice.

Sabrina Toldt lives between London and Milan. As an expert in the international art market, she works at the intersection of design, art, fashion, and photography.
