Der Ritten – Leise Beobachtungen
Oswald Kofler
Ausstellungsdauer 05.06.-08.11.26
MO - FR 9 am to 5 pm
SA 9 am to 2 pm
The exhibition Silent Observations features a selection of analogue photographs by the Bolzano-born artist and photographer, who devoted more than five decades to photography. With a subtle and poetic eye, Kofler captured people, landscapes, and quiet details of everyday life. His black-and-white photographs in particular are distinguished by their precision, atmosphere, and graphic clarity.
Since childhood, the Ritten plateau was an important retreat and place of work for Kofler — a close connection that is powerfully reflected in the photographs on display.
Curators Ursula Schnitzer and Kuno Prey provide insights into Kofler’s photographic work and open up new perspectives on his quiet visual narratives.
